The Ministry consists of the following Units:

1. Accounts Divison
This division is responsible for financial matters related to the Ministry.

2. Planning Unit
This Unit is responsible for the coordination of the various departments' work plans. To lead the process of planning and policy development and to keep abreast with what is happening with the sector, locally, regionally and internationally.

3. Registry Department
This department is responsible for the proper filing of incoming and outgoing mail and to retrieve files when necessary.
4. Farm Machinery
This unit is responsible for the management of government farm vehicles and for the ploughing of farmers’ lands.
5. Agronomy Division
Agronomy Division is headed by Ms. Shira Baldeo who has the responsibility for the propagating stations located at Mirabeau, Asheeden, Maran and Boulogne. There are agronomists who have responsibility for tree crops and root crops.

6. Extension Division
Extension Division is headed by Mr. Randolph Shears. This division has the responsibility of facilitating the granting of concession for farm vehicles and equipment. This Division also works closely with the Praedial Larceny Unit, which houses the Farmers Register. Presently there are over 6000 registered farmers in Grenada.
There four agricultural district offices. They are located in Black Bay, St. John’s; Plains, St. Patrick’s; Grenville, St. Andrew’s and Perdmontemps, St. David’s.
Information on the cultivation of various crops can be sourced from any of these offices.
This Division also oversees the activities of the Machinery Unit operation (tractor service).
The 4H Unit, which is part of the Extension Division engages in 4H activities in various schools in different parishes.
7. Land Use Division
Land Use Division is headed by Mr. Trevor Thompson who has the responsibility for the development of land use models, management of the GIS system and to assist in the proper use of the land.
This division can provide monthly information on rainfall and the percentage of sunshine & humidity from the just over twenty rainfall stations and two (2) agromet stations, that are presently active. This Division also houses the Irrigation Unit who assesses farmers’ farms who have requested irrigation, and assists them in obtaining the same.
8. Pest Management Unit
Pest Management Unit is headed by Mr. Thaddeus Peters who has the responsibilities for Plant Protection and Quarantine in the State of Grenada. The legal basis to carry out these functions is provided for in the Plant Protection Act, Chapter 242, 1986 Laws of Grenada.
Some of the main functions of the unit include- Import verification, Export certification, Pest Risk Analysis, Pest Diagnosis, Pest surveillance, Crop Protection and Extension Service and Public Awareness.
Phytosanitary issues related to international trade are also within the portfolio of this Unit.
9. Lands and Surveys
This unit is responsible for the management (sale or leasing) of Government land. They are also responsible for surveying.

10. Produce Chemist Laboratory
Produce Chemist Laboratory is headed by Mr. Ervin Henry is responsible for the testing of agro-processed products and conducting training of agro-processors to develop their products.

11. Veterinary and Livestock Division
Veterinary and Livestock Division is headed by Dr. Kimond Cummings who is responsible for all Livestock (this includes poultry, bees, pigs, rabbits, cattle and small ruminants) in Grenada.
This unit is also responsible for issuing license to import meat and meat products, livestock and domestic animals.
