The Violin Program has been a signature program of the Division of Culture since 2008. It is a 3 to 4 year program tailored for students enrolled in primary schools across Grenada. The students then join the National School Orchestra for a monthly rehearsal.
Objectives
- To teach students how to play the violin.
- Teach students how to read and write music.
- Create performing ensembles that promote the development of leadership and team-work skills.
- To bring student to grade 3 level in practical and theoretical exams according to the ABRSM Regulations.
